Lenny is a father of two daughters. After their birth, Lenny has been dedicated to learning how to be a good father—managing his emotions, caring for his daughters, accompanying their growth, and walking alongside them. One of the most challenging aspects has been correcting pattern of behaviour inherited from his birth family and effectively applying them in his own family.
Professionally, Lenny has over 20 years of experience as a social worker in Hong Kong. He has worked in the Social Welfare Department and with NGOs in areas such as suicide prevention, child and youth services, integrated family services, domestic violence prevention, child abuse prevention, and probation services. He has also served as a fieldwork instructor for social work students at multiple universities and colleges in Hong Kong for over a decade. In 2023, Lenny moved to Canada with his family and has continued his counseling work with local counseling companies and social service organizations. In 2026, he established his own business to support communities, families, and individuals in a more flexible way.
During his work with clients, Lenny discovered that many people expend considerable energy criticizing themselves and engaging in inner struggles, which negatively impacts their mental health and family relationships. He believes that by cultivating greater awareness of ourselves and adopting the three attitudes (patience, calmness, and inclusiveness), we can better accept ourselves and reconnect with our inner resources, leading to personal growth.
